Zusammenfassung:A reply to the comment on bistability driven by weakly colored gaussian noise is presented.The fokker-planck boundary layer and mean first-passage times are evaluated.It is agreed that there is a difference between the two first-passage times, and that alternative may be more appropriate for quantitative comparison with the low lying spectrum of the Fokker-Planck operator.
