Zusammenfassung: | [...]we observed that, in the patients who were restrained, the rate of reintubation was 8% and 59% of them had delirium; they may be closely related factors; according Jeon et al [5] in a retrospective analysis with prospectively collected data on weaning from mechanical ventilation and delirium, patients without delirium were more successfully extubated than those with delirium (81.5% vs 69.4%; P=.005), concluding that delirium is associated with difficulty in weaning process. |
