Zusammenfassung:Highlights • OSA is common in people with epilepsy and may contribute to worsened seizure control. • To screen for OSA, we implemented the STOP-BANG questionnaire in our epilepsy clinic. • Prior to implementation, only 1.7% of patients were referred to sleep medicine. • Following implementation, referrals to sleep medicine significantly increased to 6.3%. • The PPV of the STOP-BANG questionnaire was 81.8% in our epilepsy clinic population.
