Fire on cruise ships–A response to previous correspondence

Dear Editor In their recent Letter to the Editor, Dr Ottoman and colleagues point to a number of recent cruise ship fires and raise very valid and interesting points relating to the emergency management and medical transportation of the critically injured burn patient. [...]they call for a discussion on whether it makes more sense in such cases to dispatch a Burn Rescue Team consisting of anesthesiologists, burn surgeons and paramedics on board [1].
