Zusammenfassung: | The aim of the present study is to investigate me effect of natural food i.e. Tetraselmis chuii dan Skeletonema costatum on the content of omega-3 fatty acid (linolenic fatty acid) in marsh clam Polymesoda erosa. The clams used in this experiment were collection from Gombol waters. Segara Anakan, Cilacap with 5-6 cm in shell length Laboratory experimental method was used In the present research completely randomized design (RAL) with two factors and three replication was used in the experiment. The first factor was natural food (A) with three treatments i.e. T. chuii with concentration is 45 x 10 super(4) sel/ml (A1); S. costa tum with concentration Is 45 x 10 super(4) sel/ml (A2); and the combination of both i.e. 22.5 x 10 super(4) sel/ml T. chuii : 22.5 x 10 super(4) sel/ml S. costatum (A3). The second factor was four levels of sampling period time i.e. 2, 4, 6, and 8 days. Gas Liquid Chromatography method was used to content of omega-3 fatty acid (linolenic fatty add). All the data were analyzed by using Anova test with SPSS software. The result shows that, natural foods slgnificanly influence me content of omega-3 fatty acid (linolenic fatty acid) (F test= 5.409; p= 0.012). The sampling period time didn't influence the content of linolenic add to Marsh Clam P. erosa (F test= 0.795: p= 0.509). There is interaction effect between of natural food and sampling period significant influence the content of linolenic acid to Marsh Clam P. erosa (F test= 3.535; p= 0.012). The results suggest that the food quality, character, and to content cell wall two natural food influence the content of linolenic fatty acid to Marsh Clam P. erosa. Faktor kedua yaitu periode waktu sampling (T) terdiri dar |
