Zusammenfassung:The purpose of the current study was to investigate the association between bone mineral density (BMD) scores and the prevalence of peripheral artery disease (PAD) in a large cohort of subjects who underwent arterial Doppler assessments and calcaneal bone densitometry. The study was performed using data obtained from Life Line Screening Inc. Subjects were self-selected and paid for screening tests.
