Zusammenfassung: | A three-dimensional sea breeze model has been developed to study the sea breeze and the pollutant dispersion over a coastal area. Topography is also included. Similarity theory is adopted, whereas a turbulent kinetic energy equation is used to study turbulence and to parameterize eddy diffusion. The integration is repeated in diurnal cycles, and the results, meteorological and pollutant, are compared with data from the Athens area. |
