Elbow medial ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction

Medial ulnar collateral ligament injury requiring surgical reconstruction is most common in baseball pitchers. Since the time that the first tendon graft reconstruction of this ligament was performed, there have been several modifications. This article describes the adaptation of the original procedure, and emphasizes reconstruction of the posterior band of the anterior bundle of the medial ulnar collateral ligament.
