Zusammenfassung:The Afrotropical mealybug parasitoids of the genus Leptomastidea Mercet (Encyrtidae) are revised and the following six species described as new: ascia, lamto, pondo, tecta, turba and usta. Diagnoses are provided for L. abnormis (Girault) and L. jeanneli Mercet, revised status, in addition to a key for the separation of females of the eight species of the genus known from the region.
