Numerical study of the effect of a slightly inclined terrain on the urban heat island
A two dimensional numerical model is developed for studying the effect of a slightly inclined terrain on the urban heat island. As sloped angle beta [not equal to] 0, the wind shear within the lower levels is increased, the strength of the circulation for the urban heat island is weakened.
