Zusammenfassung:At two months after surgery, correction of the anatomic anomaly was deemed a success with a good cosmetic result (Fig. 2). Since the inception of the term symmastia in 1983, there have been few reports of this anatomic anomaly. Weight loss and bilateral reduction mammoplasty have been nonoperative methods recommended for larger breasts,1 but each patient must have an individualized treatment approach based on the characteristics of their deformity, breast size, and cosmetic expectations.
