Zusammenfassung:Formation yields of carbonyl products from gas-phase hydroxyl radical-initiated reactions, in the presence of nitrogen oxides, and ozone reactions with seven monoterpenes are reported. products derived from camphene, limonen, and -pinene were identified. Measured total carbonyl formation yields ranged from nondetectable for hydroxyl radical reactions with camphene and O sub(3) reactions with 3-carene and limonene, to about 0.5 for the hyroxyl radical reaction with limonene and the O(SUB>3reaction with sabinene.
