For non-normally distributed measurement data, two groups were compared using independent samples of the Mann Whitney U test and for categorical data constitute ratio were compared by χ(2) test or Fisher's exact test. A total of 63 patients received non-open chest ECMO support during this study, including 51 pediatric patients and 12 neonates. For 51 pediatric patients, their mean age was 55.5 (15.0-117.0) months, and mean weight was 17.5 (10.0-32.9)
