Zusammenfassung: | Reports on the findings of the biosecurity response by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) after an established population of the Queensland fruit fly (Qfly, Bactrocera tryoni) was detected in Grey Lynn, Auckland in Feb 2015. Informs that three published models for torpor induction, cold survival, mating activity and trap efficacy were used to investigate the likely overwintering activities of Qfly in Auckland and selected sites in NZ.
