Zusammenfassung:Highlights • Extrinsic skin aging manifests differently in Caucasians versus East Asians. • Up to now there are only a few and rather small studies which investigated skin aging manifestation in different populations. • The presented study includes a total of 2,326 women of three different populations (German, Chinese and Japanese). • Corroboration that pigments spots and wrinkles manifests differently between Caucasians and East Asians. • This difference depends on age and anatomical site and also differs between different ethnic groups from East Asia.
