Farm animal anaesthesia

Reading it from the farm animal practitioner's point of view in a dairy, beef and sheep practice, I have immediately put the book in my car as there are many excellent and easy to read reference tables, which range from estimating the level of dehydration based on physical examination findings, to doses of injectable anaesthetic and anaesthetic combinations for sheep, goats and camelids. The euthanasia section is well explained with a decision tree that provides good back-up for the newly qualified veterinary surgeon.
