Review of the genus Eumonopyta (Lepidoptera: Yponomeutidae) with descriptions of two new species

The yponomeutid genus Eumonopyta is reviewed by examination of the type species, E. unicornis, from Japan and Taiwan and descriptions of two new congeners, E. tucki from India and E. viridigigas from Thailand. Eumonopyta unicornis is first reported from Taiwan. The previously proposed diagnostic characters for Eumonopyta are re‐evaluated. The female genitalia of Eumonopyta are described for the first time, based on E. unicornis and E. viridigigas. Photographs of imagoes and genitalia, if available, are provided for all three species of Eumonopyta.
