Regulation of the Nampt-mediated NAD salvage pathway and its therapeutic implications in pancreatic cancer

Highlights • Nampt is overexpressed in pancreatic cancer. • Inhibition of Nampt impaired pancreatic cancer growth in vitro and in vivo. • The expression of Nampt is regulated by miR-206 in pancreatic cancer. • Inhibition of Nampt enhanced the antitumor activity of gemcitabine in PDAC.
