Zusammenfassung: | The aim of this study was to examine the influence of a 22-wk lifestyle intervention program on the cortisol response in 35 inactive, obese subjects with a body mass index > 35. The subjects were randomized into a Test Group and a Control Group. The intervention program consisted of physical activity supplemented with diet and cognitive therapy seminars. Saliva was collected 3 times a day, before and after the intervention program, and 6 months later.
