Zusammenfassung:The geological structure of the Gonzha terrane, a constituent of the ArgunIdermeg superterrane of the Central Asian fold belt, is traditionally thought to include Early and Late Precambrian metamorphic complexes, which are considered as forming the Precambrian basement of the epi Paleozoic Amur microcontinent. Recent investigations have revealed that protoliths of metamorphic rocks constituting the Gonzha Group were formed in the Paleozoic and Mesozoic, while their superposed structural-metamorphic transformations are related to the Mesozoic, not Precambrian, stage of the geological development of the Gonzha terrane.
