Zusammenfassung: | Monoallyl-end-capped polydimethylsiloxane (A-PDMS) which is used as a polymerizable surfactant was successfully synthesized. The preparation included four steps, which are hydroxyl formation, chlorination, second hydroxyl formation, and allylation. Then, a series of polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), latexes have been successfully synthesized by the emulsion copolymerization in the presence of an A-PDMS. The A-PDMS was characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. The results showed that each step was successfully carried out and the targeted products were synthesized in all cases. Also surface tension of PVAc was determined. Spectroscopic analysis confirmed that bonding of polyether to polysiloxane was successful. |
