Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, an approximate model is presented to understand Fano resonance observed in the Mie scattering from a homogeneous dielectric sphere. By using the model, we can analyze the Fano parameters and resonance widths of the dielectric spheres with given lossless high-permittivity materials. An analytic condition for the occurrence of Fano resonance in the homogeneous spheres can be shown in the approximate model. |
