Zusammenfassung: | Important and topical issues of radiation control of medical systems for radiation therapy with linear accelerators that are not fully covered by the existing regulations are discussed. Methodology is provided for calculating permitted dose rate (PDR) in the workplace and in adjacent areas for different categories and groups of the exposed population, which takes into account the workload characteristics and working time of the radiotherapy unit. The article proposes PDR for rooms with various purposes adjacent to the room of the medical accelerator, including PDR for the patient population. It is shown that PDR values during radiation control of accelerators may tenfold exceed design PDR indicated in SanPiN-2.6.1.2573-10. |
