Zusammenfassung: | The influence of the compacting pressure and moisture content of a raw peat material on such properties of fuel briquettes as the density, volume heat of combustion, compressive mechanical strength, hardness, and water absorption has been determined. Based on the results of investigations, regression dependences, characterizing the functional relationship between the noted compaction conditions and the quality indices of peat fuel, have been obtained. The optimal values of the compacting pressure and moisture content of peat that correspond to the most energy-efficient compaction regimes have been substantiated. |
