Zusammenfassung:The concept of a research, electronuclear, molten-salt, subcritical blanket implementing a structural advantage of the requisite number of radiation-safety barriers is presented. The modular structure of the core is validated by research satisfying the initial requirements k eff ≤ 0.98 and neutron power in the blanket ~1 MW. The proposed technical solutions can serve to confirm the feasibility of the design.
