Zusammenfassung: | A speckle interferometry device for evaluation of the metabolic activity of cells cultivated on a transparent substrate was upgraded, fine-tuned, and tested. The cell cultures L-41 CD/84, Vero, and LEH-3 infected with herpes simplex virus (HSV) and placed in a cultivation medium were studied. The upgrading included introduction of time averaging of the signals and real time signal processing. It was demonstrated that the degree of correlation of fragments of the speckle image taken at two moments in time could be used as a parameter characterizing the metabolic activity of the cells. |
