Zusammenfassung: | Highlights In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of bypass surgery for moyamoya disease using spectral power assessed by electrocorticography (ECoG). The spectral power of the beta band on ECoG was focally suppressed in patients with moyamoya disease. Revascularization surgery for moyamoya disease was elevated focal spectral power of beta band on ECoG. Steno-occlusive ischemic changes in moyamoya disease might cause suppression of neurophysiological activity, and the present results provide insight into the potential neuromodulatory role of revascularization surgery. |
