TAB3 involves in hepatic insulin resistance through activation of MAPK pathway

Highlights • TAB3 acts as a negative regulator of insulin sensitivity. • TAB3 has different effect on activation of ERK, JNK and p38 MAPK. • We linked MAPK pathway to insulin resistance. • We reported the sole role of TAB3 independent of TAK1.
