Zusammenfassung:Surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensors detect molecules by modifying the frequency of a surface vibration launched between pairs of interdigitated electrodes. On page 1699, M. D. Allendorf, R. A. Fischer, V. Stavila, and co‐workers introduce crystalline metal–organic frameworks (ball and stick structure) with ultrahigh surface areas and chemically tailorable pores, which provide selectivity to specific analyte molecules and enhance SAW sensitivity when integrated as thin films on the top surface of these devices.
