Zusammenfassung: | From March 2012 to March 2013, a study of infestation of natural grasslands by ticks was carried out in groups of Bugorhe and Irhambi-katana in the province of South Kivu, DRC. It identified eight families' plants including: Poaceae, Pteridaceae, Cyperaceae, Malvaceae, Asteraceae, Amaranthaceae, Lamiaceae, and Juncaceae. Species of ticks were collected from these plants are three in number, with a clear predominance of Rhipicephalus appendiculatus monitoring Boophilus decoloratus and finally Haemaphysalis Leachi Leachi. This study showed people the existence and the permanent presence of ticks on natural meadows and outgoing fodder. This confirmed the danger that the cattle are kept in a breeding on free range system (extensive). The danger is the infestation of cows with theileriosis; a dangerous deases of cows. |
