Etude comparative des caracteristiques morpho-metriques et Biochimiques des dattes commercialisees dans le marche regional de FES / MAROC [ Comparative study of the morpho-metric and Biochemical dates caractere solding in the regional market of FES / MOROCCO ]

This study is focused on biochemical and characterization of thirteen varieties of dates fruits sold in "Fez city date wholesale" in Morocco. The varieties are divided into ten Moroccan varieties "Abourar, Boufeggous, Bouskri, Bouslikhene, Jihel, Khalt, Klane, Mejhoul, Rassltmer and Tarzawa", and three imported varieties "Deglet Baida, Deglet Nour and Lulu". The results show morphological and physic-chemical differences between the studied varieties, especially in color, texture, size and weight criteria of dates. The varieties that validate all quality criteria are Mejhoul and Jihel, which have best characters that give them and appreciated the aesthetic appearance.
