Zusammenfassung: | The dynamics of organic matter was investigated in a Cambisol, in the middle west of Cote d'Ivoire, under irrigation condition, through incubation of foam in the inter-rows of sugar cane farm. In order to follow the organic matter's decomposition, Physico-chemical analyzes have been realized on two types of soil samples, one type containing foam and the other one without foam. In the absence of foam, changes in the levels of carbon (C) and total nitrogen (N) is remained very slight. In contrast, levels of total carbon in amended soil change one and a half time faster. The constants of loss of carbon are 0.0069 p.c. of C and 0.0054 p.c. of C per day, respectively, for the amended and the control soils. The incorporation of foam into the soil induced an increase in the organic matter content of 11 p.c. and the total nitrogen of 8 p.c. |
