A Review on: Augmented Reality Technologies, Systems and Applications

People are on the verge of universally adopting Augmented Reality (AR) technologies to augment their perception and help them see, feel and hear the environments in enriched and new ways. This study recapitulates the existing applications of AR, wonders on forthcoming applications and where present exploration will lead AR's growth. The challenges that AR is facing to go from the workrooms towards manufacturing, likewise the upcoming experiments. Researcher's predictions are also considered in this report. Segment 1 provides a motivation for developing this technology and introduction to augmented reality. Segment 2 discourses AR engineering science with visualization tools, stimulus devices, tracking and computers. The existing applications that have been discovered are defined in Segment 3. The challenges that AR will be facing and the future of AR are discussed in Segment 4.
