The effects of α-tocopherol administration in chronically lead exposed workers

Highlights • Supplementation with α-tocopherol resulted in a decreased blood lead level. • Effects of supplementation with α-tocopherol on oxidative damage markers were not satisfactory. • There is no reason to administer α-tocopherol as a prophylaxis of lead poisoning.
