| Zusammenfassung: | Seasonal population changes were studied in 6 spp of Amphipoda Haustoriidae. Details of population composition, the period during which ovigerous female were observed, growth in length and the number of eggs per female are provided. The spp of Bathyporeia lived for {approx} 1 yr while those of Urothoe and Haustorius probably reached at least 2 yrs of age and were much less sensitive to the effects of the low winter temps. |
