Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, the design and implementation of a passive magnetic bearing for a vertical-axis wind turbine with a permanent magnetic synchronous generator (PMSG) is presented. By applying a commercial analysis software for electromagnetics, the design of the magnetic bearing is discussed first, then the design of the structure of the wind generator is proposed. The proposed design successfully lifts a PMSG, and the wind turbine generates electric power, decreasing the physical contact largely and the noise and increasing the longevity of the rotating components. |
