The role of exciton-photon coupling in the temporal behaviour of a quantum dot-photonic crystal microcavity system

Zusammenfassung: | Here, we study the dynamics features of an experimentally realized system of InAs/GaAs quantum dot‐photonic crystal microcavity coupling. In our calculation, exciton state and cavity modes are obtained by variational method and open source GME code, respectively. The excitons in QD treated as bosons which corresponds to linear regime. Temporal behavior is characterized by the first and second‐order correlation functions. Results show how the emission represents bunching and strong‐weak coupling cross over, as well (© 2012 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim) |
