Use of platelet-rich plasma in deep second- and third-degree burns

Highlights • We investigated the use of PRP for burn treatment in rats. • PRP improved healing on deep second-degree burns. • PRP improved healing on deep second-degree burns associated with diabetes mellitus. • PRP did not improve healing of third-degree burns.
