Zusammenfassung:	A procedure is described for the purification of the toxins from axenic culture of the toxic alga, Gymnodinium breve (Dinoflagellate). Three biologically active toxins were isolated; one hemolytic and two neurotoxic. The toxins were found to be stable in a wide range of temperatures, and low pH, while alkaline conditions inactivated the toxins very rapidly. The intoxication syndrome in various laboratory animals is described.
