Zusammenfassung:Material relating to Diapericera Lacordaire, 1848 from Namibia and South Africa was studied, including type specimens of the two previously known species. The genus Eoclytra Monros, 1958 is a new synonym for Diapericera Lacordaire, 1848. Two new species are described: Diapericera cornellsbergi sp.nov. and Diapericera karooensis sp.nov. A key to the four species of the genus is given.
