Zusammenfassung:In this article, we present the results of calculations of the detection efficiency of an MKS-AT1117M radiometer performed with the MCNP 4B code for -rays emitted by a deposit of highly enriched uranium in cylindrical and planar pipelines [3, 4]. The detection efficiency of an MKS-AT1117M radiometer in measurements performed in contact geometry depends on the diameter of the pipeline and the aperture angle of the collimator. The MCNP 4B code makes it possible to calculate the radiometers efficiency in detecting uranium deposits to within 10%.
