Altered expression of miR-125a-5p in thymoma-associated myasthenia gravis and its down-regulation of foxp3 expression in Jurkat cells

Highlights • We identified 137 miRNAs differentially expressed in thymoma of TAMG patients. • MiR-125a-5 was one of upregulated miRNAs in 137 dysregulated miRNAs. • MiR-125a-5p can target foxp3 3′UTR. • MiR-125a-5p may be involved in the thymic pathogenesis of TAMG by targeting foxp3.
