Zusammenfassung:[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the trunk righting test (TRT) and trunk muscle function. [Subjects] Eighty male high-school soccer players and college American football players were the subjects. [Methods] The front bridge test (FB) and the side bridge test (SB) were used to evaluate trunk muscle function. [Results] There was no significant correlation between the TRT and trunk muscle function. However, in a side-to-side comparison, trunk muscle function was better on the side with the greatest TRT value. [Conclusion] TRT appears to be a factor of trunk muscle functions, such as the FB and SB.
