Macrolepidoptera from Foreste Casentinesi, Falterona Mount and Campigna National Park (Lepidoptera)

A list of Macrolepidoptera species from Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona and Campigna National Park is given. Bibliography, public and private collections and the specimens collected by the authors have furnished faunistic data. Several records have been revisited on the basis of bibliography and whenever it has been possible by checking for the original specimens. In conclusions we outlined the main characteristics of Lepidopteran fauna under study with the aid of a comparison with other Italian fauna. Finally, some suggestions for Lepidoptera conservation in the area are given, indicating reforestation and outdoor lighting as menacing factors.
