Factors determining the risk of diabetes foot amputations – A retrospective analysis of a tertiary diabetes foot care service

Highlights • Diabetes related foot disease remains a leading cause of minor and major lower limb amputation. • Being able to predict who is likely to require an amputation would help to target early interventions more appropriately. • We present data on a cohort of patients attending our multidisciplinary foot clinic who required amputation. • We derived a nomogram that uses simple measures to help predict who will need an amputation.
