Zusammenfassung:Possibility to apply passive seismic techniques in the area of the Ukrainian Antarctic station 'Akademik Vernadsky' is proposed in order to study deep structure of the region. As a probe signal seismic noise is used in such methods, which has certain characteristics in a particular region. Depending on the frequency, which has the maximum signal, it is available to analyze a certain depth. Analysis of frequency over time shows that it is preferrable to carry out observations for different resolution throughout the year. Features of microseismic noise in the region are signals resulting in the formation of icebergs and hits of icebergs with the seabed. The methodology is suggested to carry out further works to investigate deep structure of the region with passive seismic methods.
