Zusammenfassung:	We have determined the distribution functions for the most probable values of the heart rate variability parameters using groups of patient electrocardiogram recordings. We show that they do not correspond to a log-normal distribution function. We analyze the discrepancy and indicate the reasons for it as well as our interpretation of the physiological mechanisms for heart rate regulation and control.
