Some physico-chemical aspects of the photocatalytic decomposition of water with a concentrated solar flux

Zusammenfassung: | The possibilities of increasing the hydrogen yields directly from water by the photocatalytic method by heating with a concentrated solar flux in two stages using two types of catalysts were studied. At the first stage, the possibility of the proton synthesis from water using solid water-insoluble acid catalysts was studied. At the second stage, acid catalysts, particularly, ones developed by the authors were used. In the use of H-kaolinite, Al

acid catalysts for water treatment in the flow regime, 6 to 8.5% of protons were found in water. The formed protons are able to reduce at the second stage in a photoreactor until the hydrogen formation due to the interaction with electrons. |
