Zusammenfassung:C-UP III is an immunostimulant, activating leukocyte functions and consisting of Chinese herbs like pumpkinseed powder and many others. This study describes the higher preventive effect of C-UP III against Aeromonas infection in Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus with the improved neutrophil functions, in comparison with glucan and lactoferrin, popular immunostimulants in the present practice.
