Zusammenfassung:Micro-Abstract We compared the oncologic treatment outcomes of breast conservation therapy and mastectomy in patients with early-stage male breast cancer. An analysis of 1777 patients demonstrated similar 5-year cause-specific survival, suggesting less-invasive intervention could be an appropriate option for select men with breast cancer. Further prospective studies are needed to confirm our conclusions.
